I Get asked all the Time: "How Much Cardio Should I Do?"

Movements increasing heart rate such as Hiking, Swimming, and Biking require you to continuously move major muscle groups, leading to an elevated heart beat and increased blood flow throughout the body. If and when repeated on a regular basis, cardio exercises can improve your cardiovascular system and increase your chances of living a longer life, fighting disease, and turning your life around.
Cardio for Weight-Loss:  Most healthy adults should aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity cardio five days per week.  Start with 3 days a week; do what time in your lifestyle allows, but quit making excuses.
Moderate-intensity cardio causes your heart rate to elevate, leading to breaking a sweat but the intensity of it is best gauged by seeing if you can still carry on a conversation.
