Standing Uni-Lateral Tricep Extension

This exercise can promote growth of the muscle, but also is great for shaping the difficult to tone high part of the triceps
- A Female Favorite
- A Pre-Contest Favorite
- Shape and Tone !!

For Balance, I always stand with Chest Up and 1 Foot Forward (as seen in Photo #1).
The high point of the range of motion is 90 degrees (bent forearm at ribcage).
The end point (the extension) of the range of motion, ends by the side of the body.
I always tell my clients: "The wrist ends by your pockets". (Photo #2)

Tricks of the Exercise to Note for BETTER Results:
I only use a thumb to grip attachment (Photo #3).
While only lightly gripping the corner of the single-grip attachment, twist the wrist 'open', or 'behind' you as you reach the bottom of the movement (Photo #4).

I tell my clients: "Imagine trying to twist the wrist around the leg as you lock out/extend the arm by the side."  When this is done properly, there should be an intense burn in the very top of the tricep area.  This High Tricep burn WILL NOT be achieved when a full grip is used on the handle of the single-grip.  Nor, will it be achieved when the wrist is not twisted around the body (photo #4).
