Hummus

Hummus is a middle-eastern food composed of chickpeas, and tahini.
Tahini is made from sesame seeds smashed into a paste; a similar consistency of paste would be peanut butter.
Hummus is typically eaten with pita or other flat bread.
Both chickpeas and sesame seeds are very healthy, making hummus is a nutritionist's delight. Chickpeas are a good source of proteinpotassium and fiber
Sesame seeds are also a source of protein, along with vitamin E and a powerful antioxidant.
Blending them together into hummus gives you a very powerful snack or meal replacement!
You can buy hummus in the deli section of the grocery store; it comes in Plain flavor as well as many others, like: Garlic, Sun-Dried Tomato, Etc.
